1970年代前半のヴィンテージリーバイスのブーツカット品番517のディテールや縫製仕様、パターンを元に製作したブーツカットジーンズ。履き込むことで、綺麗な縦落ちと共に、迫力のあるアタリ感が魅力の通称Big E期の生地を指標に開発した約14オンスのセルヴッチ生地を使用しています。渡りのシャープさと、裾にかけキレイに広がるブーツカットシルエットが、スタイルの良さを引き立てます。時代背景を踏まえ、オールオレンジステッチで縫製箇所により綿糸とコア糸を使い分け、シンガーやユニオンスペシャルといったヴィンテージミシンを使用し、熟練の縫製師により、縫い上げています。
These bootcut jeans are inspired by the details, stitching, and patterns of vintage Levi's bootcut jeans from lot number 517 from the early 1970s. The approximately 14 oz selvedge fabric was developed using deadstock fabric from the 70s, resulting in a beautiful vertical fade over time. The slim fit around the thighs and the bootcut silhouette that elegantly widens towards the hem enhance the overall style. In line with the historical context, orange stitching is applied throughout the jeans, with cotton thread and core thread used depending on the sewing location. These jeans are sewn by skilled craftsmen using vintage sewing machines such as Singer and Union Special.
